Something went wrong in the Beast lightmapper
Sorry, my English is very bad.I know this is a very old question.
I'm using Unity 3.5.7 development game on the ARMv6 platform. The computer system is Window7 x64. Before long, my lightmapping went well. But the following questions have been set up after I restart my computer.
" Something went wrong in the Beast lightmapper: Job Execution Failure - Nothing to do in job This is a bug - please report it with a scene reproducing the issue. UnityEditor.DockArea:OnGUI() "
Generate Lightmap UVs,can't solve this problem. Create a new scene, can't solve this problem. Create a new project, can't solve this problem. Uninstall Unity and reset in a new directory, can't solve this problem.
Install Window7 again, solve!!!
This is the second time I have met this problem.I want to know why and how to avoid this problem. Thank you!
Sorry, but I don't think you're going to get much help with such an outdated version of Unity. Almost no one uses it anymore.
If you upgrade and have a similar problem, people will be much more familiar with it, and can likely offer more help.
Upgrade is not an option for him, because he develops for uhm... armv6 platform. Even though I have no idea what is the point of doing so.
Thank you very much for your answer!
$$anonymous$$y job demand that development game for old phone which in India and Africa. There are 9% Indian and African users are still using AR$$anonymous$$v6.After the Unity 3 version,no longer supports AR$$anonymous$$v6.
A painful job,but can bring happiness to the poor.
You could try to update to unity 4 and copy armv6 implementation .So file to the unity4 apk. But it is quite hacky.
Try to use a new project or scene. Otherwise, you might have to do a sacrifice.
