How do I fix my player character's trail effect rendering below them?
Okay, so I have a trail effect of a specific colour assigned to each of four player characters within a multiplayer (but single client) scene, which trails behind them whenever they move. This has been working fine so far, and technically still is, but recently these trails have begun rendering below the characters, rather than on them.
Because the players were originally walking around on a flat plane, I thought it wasn't rendering, but upon loading in level geometry where you can see below the main plane, I found what was really happening. I know they're still following the vertical movements of the player despite being lower, because when the player jumps, the trail moves up and then back down by the same degree, but I have no clue what I did (since i'm assuming I accidentally shifted some setting somewhere) to cause this situation.
Was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem before, and would be interesting to know how they fixed it.
