Unwrapped object is not seamless?
This one is definitely a question for people that are into modeling and texturing.
Take a look at the following picture. The doorknob in this game looks really good, except for the fact that we can't for the life of us get it to be a seamless texture. As you can see it is cut into different colors. Is there an easy fix for this? Or a tutorial video that someone knows about that would demonstrate this? All help is much appreciated.

P.S. We use blender as our modeling program and GIMP for bitmap.

Hi.First i could check if it is an texture compression artifact.From that texture's import settings choose Truecolor option. If still there is a problem you can watch this video. How To Unwrap A UV Sphere In Blender
changing it to Truecolor didn't change the artifacts, but I see what this tutorial is saying about unwrapping spheres. Thanks for your help!
