Custom Drawing/Rendering
Hi there,
wondering if it is somehow possible to have custom rendering code
So for example in a 2D game where you'd have a tilemap of 256x256 tiles per level, it would be better to just have a plane and draw the sprites on it than having 65536 gameobjects (1 per tile) around imo... however I seem to not see any way of doing this.
With a little digging I found SetRenderTarget and things like that but they seem all limited to unity pro. So is there no way to do such in non-pro Unity (without using Vectrosity or things like that)
