Why do Unity apps minimize randomly on PC?
We use UnIty3D for experiential activations and we have a Unity (version 5.5.1f1) application running on Windows 10 that randomly minimizes after some time, at intervals of 30 minutes or more.
The OS has no screensaver running. We have checked energy settings and update settings and no solution is available thus far. The app is running on an LG 45 inch touch screen if that helps and the PC is called a Nuc.
Could it be: Run in Background mode should be checked or other build settings to prevent minimizing? Has anyone had any experience using a kiosk mode software to lockdown a PC running a Unity application?
