Receive text and send Sound to and From Unity
Hi there.
So this is what i want to do. First im making a basic block to see if this will work
I want a Block to move Forward on whatever axes.
when i Press Q i want to say a word, lets say "GO" then i have to export that sound clip , then interpret it else where (i have a program/way to do that, its with Julius in the terminal in Ubuntu - its a whole speech technology thing) But any way, that program (in the terminal, needs a sound file, then it can interpret it into the WORD "GO". Then i need to import that WORD "GO" into unity via Whatever way so it can interpret GO as "W" and thus go forward.
Im really a newcomer with scripting and what have you, so do you have any ideas on how i can go towards doing this?
I dont know if Unity has a recording function, and if i should run an external program to record the sound, interpret it, save it in a txt file, and let unity get it by means of... i dono, a script?
Am i thinking the right way?
Thank you! Ruan
