Seeing through walls
okay, let's get this out of the way right now; this is not the "I can only see through one side of my 3d models walls" problem. This deals with walls that I've made out of cubes, as well as the correct side of 3d models. My issue is that if I get too close to a wall or model I see right through it no matter what side I'm on. It's almost like I'm peering through a window, and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this issue. Thanks for any help, God bless.

I think you have to adjust the near clipping panes value in your camera
thank you Vincent =) Unfortunately that didn't do the trick :(

Ben, think I didn't do that? Goodness gracious, love the snark sometimes.
The near clip plane, or occlusion culling are the only two things that can cause your problem, both of which are mentioned in the first link
you'll note my answer to Vincent above, which states that it did not solve the issue, and there is no mention of occlusion culling in that link, though I have seen it for the more common "one sided 3d model" issue.
Open a new scene, put a camera in the scene as well as some random mesh. Reduce the NearClipPlane of that camera to 0.01. If you can still see "though" the object at close range, then try restarting Unity. If you can't, then you have a different problem about the camera setup in your other scene.
thank you for that guidance, Ben. I will be happy to try that.
EDIT: Same issue.
The best bad solution I can think of at this moment is just to place a thin cube with a box collider and no mesh renderer just in front of each "wall" so that I can't actually touch them.
