Does unity holographic remoting make use the IPD setting on the device?
Hello everyone! I have a bit of a silly question for you all. When you use the holographic remoting feature to stream virtual content from the host PC to the HoloLens 1, is the imagery appearing to the user on the HoloLens generated with the device's IPD configuration?
To explain it another way, if I don the HMD and run the calibration and the device sets my personal IPD to 62mm, does unity use this information during holographic remoting? Or is this something that only happens when you deploy to the device? Or must it be manually configured using MRTK or by tuning the stereo separation on the unity camera object?
If it does take the user IPD into account, was there ever a version of the feature when it did not? I'm trying to see whether or not this may have had an impact on a research study I ran.
Thanks for you kind feedback.
