How to make particles light up in sunlight regardless of their facing direction
I've noticed that when you create a particle in Unity and enable shadows on it, it will look fine until the particle is between you and the light source when it will become as dark as it would if there was an object between the particle and the light source. This isn't realistic for something like a smoke particle.
My question: How do I make a particle be lit or in shadow regardless of what direction it is facing and only have its lighting affected by whether or not it's in the shadow of something else?
