Im trying to remove the bounciness effect of my object when it collides.
Im trying to find a way to remove the bounciness effect of my object but it's not working please help. Here is the code snippet Im trying to use to remove it from. I try this code but every time run into an object with the Object1 or Object2 tag it still bounces.
if (collision.gameObject.tag == "Object1" || collision.gameObject.tag == "Object2")
{
rb2d.constraints = RigidbodyConstraints2D.None;
}
should this work? or am I doing something wrong.
Thanks again

Take a look at your object's material and the "bounciness" value. https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-PhysicMaterial.html

i put .05 friction and 10 on bouncyness as material i added to 2d polygon collider i put on my object with the collider and still doesnt work properly, am I on the right track?
Set bounciness to 0 for no bounciness. I have a feeling you may also want friction to 0 as well, but then again that would depend on your character implementation.
Did it work? Please remember to select this as the correct answer if it did. :)
