3D Sideways DodgeRoll
For my game, I made a system that detecs if your mouse moves:
float MouseX = Input.GetAxis("Mouse X") * mouseSensitivity * Time.deltaTime;
and then a system that allows me to detect if it moves in a certain direction, in this case, left.
if (MouseX >= -10f)
When this is detected, i want a dodge roll animation to play, taking the character left, so I made an animation for that. but now i have three problems.
1: The animation seems to make the camera unable to move, so you can't actually play the game anymore
2: The dodge roll is always in the same global direction, not the local direction left
3: The player ends up snapping back to his original position after the animation is over
I would like help to fix these problems.
