Perspect Camera for Top Down 4 Player Game
I am writing a game that will be played on a table that has a large touch screen. There will be 4 players, one one each edge of the table. The table is longer than it is wide. The resolution is 1920x1080.
I am using a perspective camera that is looking down at the table. This works well for the touch and performance. I thought about having 4 cameras, but that makes the touch an issue.
The problem I am running into is that the game objects are all "tilted" towards the player because the camera is a perspective one. There is an image below.
I would like the game objects to be more like they are standing straight up.
I also tried rotating them, but then they just becomes distorted.
I also tried an isometric camera, but then everything looks flat. The game has candy being "shot" from the vending machines to the choppers in an arc using gravity. With the iso camera they don't look like they are flying in a arc, so it doesn't look good.
Any ideas how to solve this?
