Maya assets on a 2d game
Hi guys, recently i read about how Zombieville was made and i'm giving it a try. So, i'm creating planes on maya and texuring them, but when i try to use them on Unity, i get an empty object in the scene view, although it seems fine in the Inspector. I've created cubes and exported to test, everything went fine.

Are the models and textures importing correctly? Important to make sure that step is working, first.
If that's not it, is it possible that the object is rotated or scaled such that it's not rendering?

Could it be that you're model isn't double sided and that you're looking at the back of your object thus looking through it? ... to test, try to rotate your object 180 degrees or move your camera around it
