Making a connection point system like robocraft
Like the answer states, I am looking to make a connection point system like robocraft. If you don't know what I am talking about, I am basically looking for a system that can connect all blocks together and all of the blocks can also see who is connected to them. This connection should be made so all blocks have a rigid body and also so that a script on a block can tell a connected block that it needs to do something.
For instance this is something that shouldn't connect / | since the face / has no flat face to connect to it shouldn't be classified as connected to it. || since the face | is flat along with the face it is connecting with it should be connected.
Lastly if a block is not connecting to anything it should be shaded red so it is displayed to the player as invalid.
