Question by Karen Haloche · Oct 23, 2013 at 06:51 PM · pathcurveikchainconstraint

Path Constraint and IK Chain.

Hi !

I have a whale which is rigged and skinned in 3DS Max. I have applied an IK Chain on it so that all the bones can curve. I would like to create a curve in Unity and apply a Path Constraint on the whale. But not only follow the curve, I would like the whole body to follow it by using the IK chain applied on it. So that it could bend.

I found the plugin iTween Path which works for the Path Constraint. Unfortunately, I'm not used to scripting so I don't know if it's possible to add the IK Chain constraint to it.

Do you have an idea on how to proceed ? Maybe not by using iTween Path but figure another way out to assign a Path Constraint and IK Chain to a curve ?

Thanks a lot in advance, Karen

I think I$$anonymous$$ is a Pro only feature. Unity will interpret your $$anonymous$$eyframes its own way :/ F$$anonymous$$ by default

I have Unity Pro. And in the Scene Hierarchy, Unity sees the I$$anonymous$$ Chain. I just don't know how to combine the movement on the path with the I$$anonymous$$ Chain.

Is there a way to do it without using script ?
