Add exclusions to Sorting Groups
I am creating a top-down style 2D game and I am using Sorting Groups to prevent any mixing of sprites on different layers. However there are some sprite I want to exclude from the sorting group, mainly because they're some sort of effects and I want them rendered on top of everything else.
Is there some way to achieve this? Or will I need to create a separate object with said sprites that follows the parent via script?
