Can I resize a bunch of particle systems all at once, uniformly?
So, while making a game, I wanted to create an explosion effect for when the player, a little robot, dies. I looked up some tutorials and found one that gives exactly what I was looking for, and followed it verbatim.
The problem is, it's way too big for what I wanted to use it for. I could just manually go through and trial and error it, by reducing start speed and start size and all that one number at a time, but I wanted to make sure there isn't a way to just take all that stuff and just make it smaller. Like resizing the object all the particle systems are attached to, to make the entire thing scale down uniformly. (Which doesn't work, I checked. Just to be sure.)
Since I'm very, very early in development, I could just resize everything else to match the explosion instead. I'd rather not do that and stick to my character being scaled in 1's as opposed to 40's. (It's really not that big a deal, to be honest, but I'd still like to see if there's a solution as opposed to a workaround.)
If it helps, here's the video I followed: https://youtu.be/BHdbBtGgfb8
There seems to be comments on the video asking the same question, but with no response. So any help or advice would be much appreciated!
