project maintenance
My projects get larger and larger, apparently just by saving the project with a new name - multiple times. And from Visual Studio project files that can really add up.
Aside from Visual Studio project files, is there general maintenance required to delete any unnecessary files from previous project versions or previous Unity Editor versions?
Just thought I'd mention that in my Library folder there are 2 huge folders with lots of old files (and some new ones): Artifacts (2 GB) and metadata (1 GB). This project is really old and has been upgraded from Unity 5 all the way to Unity 2020.
