Weird Mac %FileName

I'm (a mac user) collaborating a project with a PC user through Perforce. Everything I submit(sync) a file, the PC user would receive that file in addition with another file with the same name but with a % in the front of that file name. He has to manually delete that file type every time I submitted a file or else there are errors. Anyone has any idea on how to getting rid of this?
