Ace Of Spades Classic Graphics

Hi!

I would like to recreate Ace of spades graphics in Unity but don't know how to go about it or even what this style of graphics is called.
(characters in the photo)
Any tips in what i should look in to, would be greatly apreciated! alt text

They're called voxels.

For Graphics (Players, etc) ypu can use free softwere called "Magica Voxel", it's what you need

World:

You have make procedural generaetd voxel world. There are many, many videos on youtube, or tutorials about it, but first watch, understand and at the end do it yourself. If you thoughtlessly rewrite someone's work, you will never improve the system and you will be nervous about it.

I can only say that this type of world is created chunk, chunk are made of block, and block are made with mesh etc. This should help you. I recommend to see everything here as a starting point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucuOVL7c5Hw&list=PL5KbKbJ6Gf9-d303Lk8TGKCW-t5JsBdtB

Thanks for the responce! I know that the blocky, $$anonymous$$inecraft like worlds are created from voxels, but what i want is how the characters are renderd. When i play the game it appears the models are blocky meshes but they are renderd as if they were built ftom 2d squeres that are always facing the camera, not really voxels?? If you get what i'm saying...

The game used Silverman's Voxlap engine, maybe that's your starting point for investigation. Although I'd say that even characters are made of voxels, except the voxels are not rendered as cubes, but rather as screenspace quads
