frame rate improvement questions

I am having some frame rate issues.At best around 35 but sometimes dip to 25 - 28.i have the free version so can't use profiler to pinpoint issues so I am making a general inquiry. raycasters - I have alot of that going on does THAT slow things. Textures.. would decreasing their size help? I have MANY eye candy objects in rooms....tables desks general clutter. I have combined much of it. that is to say 6 different objects share the same texture ( 1024x1024) . would putting 4 of these ganged on a 2048x2048 help? all objects sharing same texture have been combined as a single mesh so this way I could combine 24 different object types on a single texture rather than 6.I know it would decrease the draw call but.... The only light that is active is 1 directional ( to cast shadows - all other lights are light bake only). I try to find problems by turning things off while playing to see how it effects things. It changes the draw call but not really the frame rate. ANY HELP OR ADVICE GREATLY APPRECIATED

the frame rate dip is usually during animation when a few enemies are attacking at the same time. They are pretty low poly though, but they have raycasters on weapons so as to not shoot if they are aimiing at awall. It's just that in the end bos round, I have A LOT of enemies constantly spawning and attacking but I have a decent frame rate of 40 +
