comprehension question: relative/World Location
Hello,
why, once you nest the objects, the transform of this object is smaller than at world. For example, if I nested something a few times, the value x is smaller or does not move as far as if I did not nest it. And what does this reduction multiplier depend on? How can I calculate that.
p.s. Sorry for my bad english
... but if there are questions ill try to anwere them

Hmmm.... I don't know if there's any difference in the amount an object moves when nested. If one of the parents uses a different scale on the transform... then maybe... idk...If so it would depend on the scale in each axis... and if there's several different scales involved, then their product... I think the biggest difference, and the important difference is that when nested the object's transform is relative to the parent. So say you have an object at world space ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) and you have another object at ( 1, 1, 1) . If you child it to the first object its transform will read ( 0 , -1 , -2 ) because that's where it is with respect to its parent.
