Unity Editor Bug - TextCharacters disappearing randomly

Issue:

I am experiencing a really weird bug in the Unity Editor. Sometimes when I click on anything in the Editor, a significant amount of characters (in all Editor panels) just disappear (see screenshot). This effectively makes the Editor unreadable, and consequently, unusable.

Question:

Anyone know why this may be happening? Is this just a lack of RAM or could there be other issues? I have never experienced this issue before, so would appreciate some insight as to why this is happening. I would like to resolve this so I can continue working.

My Environment

Unity: 2019.4.2f1 (LTS)
OS: MacOS Catalina v10.15.5 (19F101)
Hardware: MacBook Pro - Mid 2014 Model
