Is There a heightmap making/generating tool?

I'm trying to make some natural looking terrain, is there some kind of heightmap making/generator tool that can be used? an online one would be great, but if I need to download it, I will.

Geocontrol 2 is a great tool for creating terrain in Unity. http://www.geocontrol2.com/e_index.htm
