Play button takes forever to load, how to fix?
I just started using Unity on my Macbook Pro (late 2013) and I am currently doing the "roll-a-ball" tutorial on the Unity website. I'm doing step 2, and have written the program perfectly and the program loads, but when I press the play button it just freezes with the loading wheel and I can't click on anything. From there, I can only manually force quit Unity. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?

@aditya it doesn't have to be anything with a code. This is a well known problem with unity and macbook. I also have this issue, but after i force quit unity next time i'm able to run game inside editor.
it might be a unity bug but what if it is not ... take a look at this answer here ... in that case it was not unity but the guy programmed an indefinite coroutine that was freezing the editor ... hope you understand
Like @aditya somewhat abruptly said, hard to say without code or any kind of insight.
I've not done the roll a ball tutorial, is there any while statements in the code?
I can only suggest triple checking your scripts and when you're sure it is not that, check them again :)
