What could be causing this TLS Allocator error come up on Console even if I am not in play mode ?
TLS Allocator ALLOC_TEMP_THREAD, underlying allocator ALLOC_TEMP_THREAD has unfreed allocations
This error keeps appearing in my console after few seconds, even if I clear the console. My scene playmode and pause mode are off, still. What could be causing this ?
I'm seeing this as well today. $$anonymous$$ost people are using the JsonUtility when it occurs but I think my case was just the editor failing to serialize something (specifically a large array of strings I was modifying in code). After the issue started, it kept recurring even while not running, until I restarted the editor.
Hi! I just received this error as well, funny enough I'm not doing anything with JSON (though maybe one of the assets I'm using does...?).
TLS Allocator ALLOC_TE$$anonymous$$P_THREAD, underlying allocator ALLOC_TE$$anonymous$$P_THREAD has unfreed allocations
This appears on my console, alongside a huge lot of errors like this one (just change the amount of bytes to something else). Allocation of 37296 bytes at 05dbea90
Every half second it spews the same errors over and over with the same bytes and same addresses (my guess at what is the second number) so I guess it's trying to allocate the same data over and over.
It will be hard to know what it is, but I wonder if anyone else has encountered with this before. I'm doing tests with the 5.0 Unity Networking module, anything else is super simple (I'm using the QuerySD assets too if anyone knows them, but they're just animations and models with some scripts to simplify their use --anything else are just plain visuals like models, textures and stuff).
Still, this has no impact on the game functionality as far as I can see (a.k.a. everything SEE$$anonymous$$S to work fine) but it's VERY annoying.
And I'm using Unity 5.5.0f3.
I have the same problem, i had it when editing the terrain on osx
I'm on Unity 2020.2.2f1 and still found this problem too!! if waiting for awhile without do anything a Unity will crash and close by itself automatically But if I re-import all assets the problem will gone... But my project is very big I cannot re import everyday...

Edit / Preferences / GI Cache / and Clean Cache
Thanks, For me combination of 3 things were needed to solve the issue, 1. as you said clearing GI Cache 2.Changing my unity layout for example back to default 3. closing and reopening the editor

I solved this error. You must change .net option in player setting .net 3.5 to .net 4.6.
$$anonymous$$ate I was getting 999+ errors after clearing GI cache, just changing this and restarting removed all of them.

Disabling Project Settings->Player->Other Settings->GPU Skinning and Graphics Jobs seems to have worked for me in Unity 2019.3.3.
That did not work for me unfortunately. I still get TLS Allocator errors when I move my mouse in certain Editor Windows, and it's pretty consistent. If my mouse it in the hierarchy window, there are no errors. If my mouse is in the Game View or Scene View windows, the error spams.
