You need to import Visual Studio 2013 tools into your project.

Assets -> Import Package -> Visual Studio 2013 Tools

[SOLVED] Answer :: The VS package can be found in the Program Files (x86) folder if you navigate to it from Assets> Import Package> Custom Package...

Original query is as follows ::

Sorry to exhume an old thread but I'm having this issue and since a new thread is unnecessary (given this one already exists) I'm posting here ins$$anonymous$$d.

I don't see a way to import the Visual Studio Tools as you're suggesting; v2015 in my case. However, in a previous project, scripts launch fine in VS. However, in this new project, VS doesn't appear in the import drop down or show up on my menu bar like it does in the project it's working properly in.

To the point, I understand that VS needs to be imported into the project, but I'm at a loss on how to make that happen.

For the sake of getting through some tutorials, I'm using Unity 4.6.9f1 and VS 2015, so this might all be strange given that newer versions of both Unity and VS are out (as of now, v5.5.4p4 & v2017 respectively).
