Asset import did not unload metadata path. This will leak memory. File a bug with repro steps please.
Hey, my HDRP project suddenly started to give error "Asset import did not unload metadata path. This will leak memory. File a bug with repro steps please." on changing imported asset settings. I realiazed that Unity does not give that error on LWRP and standart. Also, if I extract material/s of asset, unity stops giving error.
Firstly, those memory leaks are for editor or affects build?
Secondly, after extracting material of asset error goes away, this means leaks stop or fixed ?
I am using Maya as a 3d application, is that problem because of Unity's side or 3d app's side? (Maybe some exporting settings in Maya)

Please file a bug via the unity menu bar->Help->Report a Bug. This way you help resolve the issue and can ask these questions directly from the team handling the bug and responsible for the feature.
