Using / Employing SSH within Unity Scenes / Projects
Hi there,
I am currently developing an application that reads data from a remote host.
Thing is currently I am using PuTTY to establish a connection and only then can I start the scene / build since otherwise I get critical exceptions.
The most promising result I found so far is this thread: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/980864/using-a-ssh-connection-in-a-unity-project.html
So for one it is over a year old and second it did not really provide too much of a suitable solution if I understood all the answers correctly.
Hence, questions are as follows:
Has anybody successfully implemented the use of SSH connections within their Unity scenes / builds ?
Am I correct in assuming that I have to compile the binary of the SSH.NET myself? (-> https://github.com/sshnet/SSH.NET) (as there is no DLL in the downloadable archive)
I welcome any input on this matter!
Much obliged!
