Make copy of gameObject and Behaviour, that is controlled from parent - object. Is it possible?
Here is the thing:
I have a downloaded asset that has a prefab.
This prefab is a parent with a child object.
The parent_object controls with inaccessible scripts the child object and its components.
The child object has no script on it.
Is it possible for me to make a copy of the child object, that will behave exactly like the original child? // This means that parent child applies actions and controls on original child and the copy_child inherits these modifications, without any reference to parent_object but only to the child object.
Also, if this is possible, can I modify some of its components (ex. layer, materials, shaders)?
