I have a problem with variables/networking.

So I'm making a multiplayer game and I'd like to add to it a base building system that I made before, but it works only if the player is already in the scene (without spawning it for the network) because the building system needs a variable for the main camera and the player. What can I do to define variables after spawning the player? Thanks.
