Android build freezing on signing

I am trying to build my app for Android.

Everything seems to be okay until it reaches the validateSigningDebug (or release) stage. Then it freezes completely.

Can not get the build to complete.

I am using my own gradle file.

Everything was working great til a day or so ago and now suddenly it stopped working.

Using Unity 5.6.2
