Post Processing for Mobile
Hello people of Unity Answers! Im making a game for android and the fps is very good without PP. It looks bad without PP and I tried URP and the normal PP. Both of them eat alot of FPS and I cant find a solution to optimize that. My game runs at 3 - 4 FPS with PP. Is there any free way to use PP and still have a good Framerate?
What effects are you using? With color grading, bloom, vignette, and screen distortion on, my FPS only drops by around 40, from 220, to 180, in my game at least. If you decide to use ambient occlusion for mobile, you're pretty much stuck with using the Scalable mode, which doesn't use compute shaders and is a killer for mobile FPS. Find the effects which are the most costly and remove them. @Dracolyte
