[META] MODERATORS WARNING - BOT SURGE
There have been a large number of 'random questions' and linkdropping in the last few hours.
Most of these are bots trying to get a hook on the site. Some of them are real people who can't seem to read properly.
If it is obviously a bot, suspend the account. If you can not be sure, try to ascertain if the person does in fact use Unity. If not, suspend the account, leave a message stating why.
If you do get a reply, give them the opportunity to leave of their own accord, if they are not a Unity user.
Check sign up times. Check for previous questions. If you are not sure, leave it for someone else to deal with and possibly bring it to someone's attention (Graham Dunnett, Sara Cecilia or a High Karma user).
Above all, be polite.
(Note that all suspensions can be lifted. In the odd case that the person IS a Unity user, it will serve as a warning to not abuse the site...with questions like "Does an adult woman's poop smell". Yes, It Happened).
Surely the correct answer to "Does an adult woman's poop smell?" is RTF$$anonymous$$? Why does nobody read the manual these days....
And that, my friend, is why you have over 11k $$anonymous$$arma more than me. I envy your knowledge ;)
I think Unity Answers need CAPTCHA. This will help to filter bots.
Bots yes. Nefarious users, no.
Some users will copy and paste some unity stuff in an attempt to make a post, any post. $$anonymous$$onths later they will edit the post to include links etc. I've seen this happen a few times.
Does the suspend user button work? I've tried it a few times and got nowhere.

Unless it's obviously a real person asking a sensible question, just delete them from the moderation queue.
Graham is the boss.
$$anonymous$$ine is a suggestion, his is word :P
