Disabling VSync Decreasing FPS Dramatically
Hello, I'm trying to boost the FPS of my 2D game for mobile phones before publishing. Some of my iOS beta testers notified me that the FPS in older iOS smartphones is low, so in order to fix that, I'm trying to disable the VSync count setting from the QualitySettings menu.
After I did that and built the game to my Android device (Xiaomi Mi A1), it causes the exact opposite - the FPS has dropped to stable 15-20, and the whole game is lagging, After I changed the VSync count again back to "Every V Blank" the game run smoothly again.
My current Quality Settings that makes the game run smoothly on my device
What should I do in order to disable VSync Count but keep the FPS high as it should be?
Thanks.
