Resolution of Interactive Map,Resolution for Interactive Map Game
Hi everyone,
I work for a museum and am trying to make a GoogleMaps style application based on a 19th century map we have in our archives. I don't want to have to buy any plugins or licenses, so trying to do this from scratch.
The map is set up as a rawimage UI on my level, but obviously as you zoom in the resolution gets bad. Is there any way I can script for the resolution to stay great as the player zooms in on the map? I assume Google have a script that essentially re-renders the map with each zoom.
Thanks for the help! ,Hi everyone,
I work for a museum, and am trying to create an interactive google style map based on a 19th century map we have in our archives.
I've taken a photograph of the map and set it as a raw image UI, but obviously when you zoom in the resolution isn't great.
Is there a way for me to allow the player to zoom in and for the map resolution to still be great? I assume that google maps have a script that essentially re-renders the map with each zoom, but have no idea how to do this without having to buy a plugin.
Thanks for the help!
