Pink screen while launching Unity Editor
I have updated my Unity to the version 2017.1 for Windows 8 and now get completely pink screen (except the main menu bar) every time I launch the Editor (see pink_screen.jpg). Although all elements are existing and clickable. Installing my previous version 5.6 and the latest one 2017.4 does not fix the problem.
There are few steps I have performed to solve it:
updated NVIDIA drivers to v. 390
updated DirectX to v.11
launched Unity from a command line with forced OpenGL use (>Unity.exe -forse-opengl) as was recommended here: https://answers.unity.com/questions/1430108. This last act slightly changed the picture (a black strip arose under the menu bar) but not too much.
The only way I found to get rid of this is installing Unity 4 but it seems to be not a good solution.
Will be grateful for any advice.
