Skinning Editor cant create bone
Hi For some reason I cant create any bones in the Skinning editor. I can click the button, but not draw any bones. Packages installed are 2D Animation 2D IK 2D PSD Importer.
Any idea whats wrong here?

I am having the exact same problem as widowmaker1 - same plugins installed. I am using the free Unity version, is the Skinning Editor only for Plus?
I had the same problem. Solved it by double clicking the sliced part in Skinning Editor. Hope it helps
when I double clicing the sliced part in Skinning Editor I can creat the bone, but when i click generate for selected button , i find there is another layer under my bone layer which can not control by bone,any idea whats wrong here?
As for 2019.2 it was pretty confusing and the answer below didn't provide much help as it's not clear what is meant by "sliced part". Here's how I made it work:
1) Import sprite with Sprite Mode Single (didn't work with Multiple for me).
2) Go to Sprite Editor and change its mode to Skinning Editor by clicking a dropdown at the top left corner.
3) Generate geometry first whether by auto generate or manually.
4) Select Create Bone tool and double click one of the geometry pieces to activate bone creation mode.
