Is it possible to write a lit object to UV unwrapped texture
Hey there, I am trying to get the lighting data off of an object in my scene and write it to a texture, BUT I need to do it in realtime. I really only need how much light is where in the UV texture, but if I can get a lit version of the texture I figure it might? be possible to subtract the original texture and get the difference.
I'm hoping someone might have a clue to this, maybe a custom render texture? Thanks people.
