unity 2019.1.5 not responding

So when ever i try to generate considerably large terrains with gaia2 or make any changes to my project the editor says not responding in task manager and refuses any input and when it does work i can only resise object such as stamps upwards not outwards

my pc specs are msi gl63 8re

i7-8750h 2.20ghz

16gb of ram

nivideo gtx 1050
