Texture atlas and Texture2D.PackTextures
Hi
My first question is how can I use Texture2D.PackTextures to make atlas and use each texture in my atlas for all of my gameobjects (actually planes and sprites)
This method is the best and easiest or I can use other things like texturePacker ?
Then I want to know that if I have some textures and want to change renderer.material.mainTextureOffset of them for scrolling background and foreground It'll be ok to use atlas ?
Thanks a lot.
at least I want to know my third question : "if I have some textures and want to change renderer.material.mainTextureOffset of them for scrolling background and foreground It'll be ok to use atlas ?"

If you want to use TexturePacker the easiest way is to use the free importer plugin. A short description is here: https://www.codeandweb.com/texturepacker/unity
Changing the texture offset might not be a good idea. I have not tried it yet - but I could imagine that it would display whatever other stuff is on your sprite sheet... Why not move the background object instead of offsetting it's texture?
