Texture2d - Get Portion of Image - Skew
Hello,
I'm trying to achieve something like this:
I'd like to take a portion of a Texture2d (dark red) by giving 4 coordinates/matrix. And to then extract that pixel data, and then turn it back into a rect Texture2d again (light red).
I'm not sure whether this can be achieved on a CPU level, or that I have to dive into GPU shader language, which I'm not familiar with.
I know that if I do achieve it on the CPU it will be much slower, but I'm currently okay with that for the time being. I just don't even know where to start for either methods though. I would assume there might be a formula/algorithm I can follow?
Any advise would sure help.
