Shader cull off light both sides
I know next to nothing about shaders but was able to add Cull Off
to a default shader just so a flag I created would show both sides. As anyone who knows about shaders would know that the other face will not be affected by light, so one side is bright and the other dark. Is there an easy way to get the other side lit? Or is there another approach I should be using for the creation of a flag? I'm currently using an Interactive Cloth with External Acceleration and Random Acceleration both set and it works well. The only problem is the "dark side of the flag".

It's possible, but there is no easy way to do that. The problem is that you don't have two faces, you only have one. The easiest thing to do is model both sides, so that you do have two faces, so lighting can work correctly.
Cheers, for some reason I just assumed that the Interactive Cloth would only work with planes. Don't know why...But adding a thin mesh ins$$anonymous$$d works perfect.
