LOD for shadows

Hello,

How can I use a low LOD mesh to cast realtime shadow? Is it a good idea for mobile games?

You refer to quality shadow on distance?, well, in Quality Settings there is the shadow limit distance and Shadow Resolution. But "LOD" for shadows not exactly.
