Rejected by Apple because of Google Play Services
It is kind of baffling but our game was rejected by Apple because we are using Google Play Services. Here is the final correspondence after a week long discussion
Me: " Just to get a final verdict, is Google Play Services library allowed in an iOS game? If so, then is it just a matter of removing "Google's" name from the game?"
From Reviewer: "Thank you for your response. References of third party platform information, including Google Play and/or Android is not within our guidelines and therefore should not be located in app metadata or binary. We appreciate your efforts to comply with the App Store Review Guidelines, and we look forward to reviewing your resubmitted app."
Basically saying the library shouldn't be in the game. My question is, if this is the case then why in the world is there a GPGS plugin for iOS? We have learned through search that others do have GPGS implementations in their iOS games, did we just get super-lucky?
BTW, we will switch to Game Center for now to get things going
