FPSController and lighting not working on Mac M1 pro
So I try to drag and drop the fps prefab (Standard Assets) in the scene and it's only there like a ghost. Its colliders/camera-audio icons don't show up at all. Yet it does appear on the hierarchy and clicking on "FirstPersonCharacter" does show the little cam window on the bottom right of the scene.
I can try and edit the parameters in the inspector but no actual change takes place. (I am able to play (move/look around or jump, but it's always on its default settings, no matter what).
I tried a couple of other fps controllers from the asset store, it's always the same.
Same thing also happens with the lighting asset.
This doesn't happen on my old macbook. I haven't found anyone else addressing such an issue and I'm really confused. Has anyone else encountered this and found a way around it?
(Also it's my first time posting here and I can't figure any way to break lines between paragraphs. Apologising in advance for the formatting and any help would be appreciated :D )
