Dynamic Texture Mask
Context: I want to make a game about cleaning dirt off of objects and structures, however, I don't just want the material to slowly change from dirty to clean as the player clicks on it. Rather, I want the material to change wherever the player sprays it clean. In essence, I'm trying to create a mask that the player can "paint" away.
For reference as to what I'm trying to create, look at Blender's "Dynamic Paint" feature, where it creates a series of images that change color where the brush is intersecting the canvas in UV space.
How do I do this/Is this even possible?
