Player size statistics in Editor.log - last scene is huge even in it;s empty
Hi experts,
I am testing the deployment of a game to an android phone, and checking the build size by looking at the Editor.log file. I am looking at the Player size statistics section, where there is a list of all scenes and how much space they take.
The last scene is always huge, like 50mb, while other scenes are tiny some 1-2 mb and some are just kbs:
Player size statistics
Level 0 'Assets/Scenes/Home.unity' uses 1.6 MB compressed / 4.4 MB uncompressed.
Level 1 'Assets/Scenes/LevelOptions.unity' uses 1.8 MB compressed / 5.8 MB uncompressed.
Level 2 'Assets/Scenes/Sop.unity' uses 5.1 MB compressed / 21.4 MB uncompressed.
Level 3 'Assets/Scenes/Levels/Level_1.unity' uses 17.1 KB compressed / 128.0 KB uncompressed.
Level 4 'Assets/Scenes/Levels/Level_2.unity' uses 22.0 KB compressed / 128.0 KB uncompressed.
Level 5 'Assets/Scenes/LevelResults.unity' uses 0 B compressed / 0 B uncompressed.
Level 6 'Assets/Scenes/Levels/SceneSizeTest.unity' uses 0 B compressed / 0 B uncompressed.
Level 7 'Assets/Scenes/Levels/BlankScene.unity' uses 42.3 MB compressed / 79.4 MB uncompressed.
Total compressed size 50.9 MB. Total uncompressed size 111.2 MB.
As you can see I even made a completely blank (default scene) with just a light and a camera, and it's still coming out as 42.3 MB.. It always seems the last scene. When I moved this scene in the list in build settings, then it shows correct size.
What's going on? The only explanation I see is that unity uses the last scene as a store room for all the resources, prefabs or whatever else is there in the game....
