What is the best way to assign texture tiles to mesh?
Hello there,
I am making an application where I receive from the server a lot of tiles (pieces) of a texture that I am supposed to apply to a mesh. There are up to 150 pieces of texture, combining them at runtime to generate a bigger mesh to use is taking up too much time. (around 3 minutes).
What is the best way to solve this problem? Would a shader that receive as the input all the tiles and generate an image work? Should I preprocess everything using the ne DOTS system? It there another alternative I am missing? Please help.
