How do I create a more dynamic 2D blood splatter
I'm creating a 2D top down game and want to make it extremely gory with directional and dynamic blood splatters. By this I mean that if a player hits an enemy, the blood will spray 180 degrees direction of the hit and the amount of blood will depend on the weight of the hit. The blood will also start off as a spray but if it hits a wall or the floor it turns into a splatter on the object. How would I go about creating this?
